The mist, the market, the maker

Brume Atelier is the personal floral studio of Elise Moreau — rooted in Nantes, guided by season and short supply chains.

Elise Moreau in the Brume Atelier workshop

From landscape design to living bouquets

I trained first as a landscape designer, learning how colour, volume, and space speak to one another. The florist CAP that followed was the moment flowers stopped being decoration and became the work itself.

Today I run Brume Atelier as a small independent practice: no catalogue clones, no distant cold-chain stems when local growers can supply what the week needs.

What guides every composition

Local & seasonal

I prioritise Loire-Atlantique growers and French seasonal production so each bouquet carries a sense of place.

Story over trend

Your occasion, your palette, your home — the flowers follow the narrative, not a fixed lookbook.

Gentler materials

I reduce single-use plastic and use as little petrochemical floral foam as possible in favour of cleaner techniques.

A travelling atelier with heart

The flower cart was built with family care — bright, practical, and designed to meet people where they already gather.

At markets and private events it becomes a mobile workshop: fresh stems, kraft wraps, and bouquets composed while you watch. It is how Brume stays close to Nantes and its surrounding towns.
